Russian tourists fly to Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh from Moscow on Belavia boards
On September 30, 2020, Belarusian airline Belavia has performed its first flight from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Minsk after the resumption of regular flights between Russia and Belarus. The air carrier operates flights weekly on Wednesdays.
On the first flight of Belavia, Russian tourists left Moscow for Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh with one change in Minsk.
Belavia flies from Minsk both to Hurghada and to Sharm el-Sheikh and now it has become much easier to Russian tourists to get to the resorts of Egypt. Most fans of Egyptian resorts from Russia buy tours to Egypt from Belarusian travel agency Travel House.
In Russia, in September, the government has allowed flights to Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and the Maldives, and tour operators are ready to include tour packages for these destinations in their range. Market participants expect high demand in all three countries. The flow of tourists will be limited only by the frequency of flights and a possible rise of the cost of transportation.
Tez Tour expects a quick recovery of the demand for Egypt. There is no discussion of charter transportation yet. Nowadays, only regular flights will be able to fly to Egypt. Also, nowadays, it is quite possible to build a tourist flow from Russia in this destination on regular flights.
