Russian tourist flow to Cuba has increased by almost 40% for the year

“For 11 months of 2016 Cuba was visited by 52.6 thousand Russians, which is almost 39% more than for the same period of the last year”, - reported in the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) on Tuesday. "This figure has already exceeded the number of tourists from Russia for the whole 2015 - 43 thousand tourists. Cuba this season will achieve tourist record: according to predictions, the country will be visited by no less than 4 million tourists, which is 15% more than in 2015. The dynamics of the Russian tourist flow three times more against from the other countries", - reported in the ATOR. The ATOP noted that at New Year's date Cuba is booked better than a year ago. Typically, the Russians go to Cuba for 10-12 nights. In addition, there is a high percentage of regular tourists visiting Cuba for the second, third or even fifth time.
