Russian tourist flow to Bahrain increased 6 times in 2022

As Russian Ambassador to the Bahrain Alexei Skosyrev said in an interview, 20 000 Russians visited Kingdom in 2022. According to him, this is almost six times more compared to 2021. The lifting of coronavirus restrictions in Bahrain and loyal entry conditions have become the main drivers of the growth of tourist flow.

Bahrain has a simplified visa regime with the Russian Federation. If the duration of the tourist trip is less than two weeks, the visa is issued upon arrival at Bahrain airport. If the duration of the trip exceeds two weeks, a visa is issued at the consulate of the country.

Tour operators also agree with the conclusions of Russian diplomats. According to aggregated estimates, the demand for tours to Bahrain has increased last year. The positive trend continues.
