Russia will increase the number of flights abroad
From November 16, the number of flights from Moscow to Dubai and the Maldives may be increased to 7 per week, to Cuba - up to 4 flights. From November 28, the flights to Dubai will be also operated by Pobeda airline. "Most likely, the carrier will receive permissions for charter flights, like Rossiya airline," said one of the experts familiar with the situation.
However, Russia has not yet made a final decision. The headquarters for combating the spread of coronavirus in the Russian Federation has not yet officially announced the possibility of increasing the frequency of flights on these routes.
Experts believe that the new flights will make Dubai more accessible for tourists. Now tickets for November cost about 889 Euros, and there are no tickets on sale for the New Year.
An increase of frequency of flights is also predicted on the route to the Maldives – up to 7 per week. Only Aeroflot is expected to perform these flights.
The increase of the number of flights to the Maldives is expected from November 22. A decrease in the price of air tickets as part of a tour is also predicted here, but experts still find it difficult to estimate a decrease in percentage terms.
Also in November, three new destinations may be opened. These are Seychelles (Victoria), Ethiopia (Addis Ababa) and Kazakhstan (Almaty). It will be allowed to operate 2 flights a week to the Seychelles and Kazakhstan and 3 flights - to Ethiopia.
