Russia plans to open borders with seven more countries
Experts and the media continue to speculate about which foreign destinations may be reopened for flights from Russia in the near future. Now we are talking about new destinations - Egyptian Cairo, Chinese Shanghai, as well as France, Cyprus, Hungary, Malta and Jordan.
The government instructed the Federal Air Transport Agency and Rospotrebnadzor to work out new regions last Tuesday, and the decision of the operational headquarters can be expected on August 25. But, according to the head of the operational headquarter Tatyana Golikova, there are currently no new decisions on the resumption of international flights, and the Federal Air Transport Agency refused to comment on this issue.
Earlier, experts talked about the restoration of flights to other countries. Among them are the United Arab Emirates, Cuba, South Korea and Montenegro, as well as the CIS countries and Georgia. However, so far, regular flights from Russia from August 1 are allowed only to three states - Turkey, Tanzania, Great Britain, and the flights to them were initially carried out from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don. Airports of Kazan, Kaliningrad and Novosibirsk were added to the list on August 20.
