Russia intends to increase the number of tourists from China by fishermen

Russia expects to increase the number of tourists from China by attracting fishing enthusiasts, according to the press service of the Federal Tourism Agency. Previously, the agency signed a memorandum of understanding with the Association of Chinese fishing sport. The document envisages the establishment of a program of Russian-Chinese cooperation between the fishing associations and communities, which in the long term lead to increased number of tourists in Russia. The most promising in terms of development of the industry of receiving fishing enthusiasts are Astrakhan, Baikal and Kamchatka. The press service of the Federal Tourism Agency also noted that about 60 million fishing enthusiasts from China annually participate in the activities and competitions within their own country and actively travel the world in search of fish places.
