Qatar is steadily gaining popularity among Russian tourists

In the current realities, the Middle East is gaining great popularity among Russian tourists. Qatar occupies a special place. Pac Group devoted a presentation of this country, talking about flights, tourism opportunities and the increased demand for cruises in the Persian Gulf.

“The countries of the Middle East are opened to Russian tourists. There are uninterrupted flight programs of national carriers. This means that there are good opportunities for the development of tourism,” said Ilya Itkin, CEO of the Pac Group tour operator.

Pac Group offers its tourists to have holidays in Qatar as part of beach and sightseeing tours, or visit Qatar as part of cruises around the Persian Gulf.

In the winter season 2021/22, cruises in the Persian Gulf were very popular among Russian tourists, said Nadezhda Filina, Leading Manager of the Pac Group Cruise Department.

“In the winter season, we achieved good results. I am proud to say that sometimes up to 700 Pac Group customers were boarded. According to the results of the season, the MSC cruise company informed us that Russia has become the first in terms of the number of tourists vacationing on cruises in the Persian Gulf,” said Nadezhda Filina.
