NordStar will launch flights from Rostov-on-Don to Cairo on February 19
From February 19, NordStar Airlines will launch direct regular flights from Rostov-on-Don to Cairo (Egypt), the press service of the carrier reports.
Flights will be operated on Boeing 737-800 aircraft on Saturdays. Flight time is 3 hours 30 minutes. Ticket sales for the flight are opened until March 27.
According to the schedule of Platov airport, currently Rostov-on-Don is not connected by direct flights with the capital of Egypt, and the announced flight of NordStar airline is the only one on this route in the winter season of 2021.
The Russian Federation resumed flights to Cairo, suspended in the spring amid the coronavirus pandemic, in September. Soon, flights to the Egyptian capital were restarted by Aeroflot (from Sheremetyevo) and Egyptair (from Domodedovo) with a frequency of three times a week. At the end of January, the Russian Federation and Egypt agreed to increase the frequency of flights to five per week.
