Montenegro has reduced the terms of visa-free stay for Russians
The Montenegrin authorities traditionally update the visa-free regime for foreign tourists every year. Under the terms of the agreement between Russia and Montenegro from 2008, Russians can enter the country without a visa if the duration of their stay there exceeds 30 days from the date of entry.
The period of such a visa-free regime is valid from November 1 to May 31. For the summer season, from April to October 31, a longer period of stay in the country was set for Russians - 90 days.
Nowadays, for the Russians, in order to stay in Montenegro for more than 30 days, even in the period from April 1 to October 31, they must obtain a multiple-entry visa for 3 months at the Embassy of Montenegro. Consular fee for a visa up to 90 days is 60 Euro.
