Karachay-Cherkessia (KCR) and the leading tour operators of the Chinese People's Republic signed a memorandum on cooperation in the sphere of tourism, designed to significantly increase the numbers of tourists in the KCR. "The agreement became a continuation of the agreements on the organization of tours along the Silk Road in the Caucasus section. The opening of the route "Great Silk Road", which runs through all the seven North Caucasus regions, will strengthen the strategic cooperation between Russia and China", - the agency "Interfax-South" was said at the press service of the head of KCR. According to the source, this project will contribute to a significant increase of tourist flow in Karachay-Cherkessia. The tourist route "Great Silk Road" on the base of "all inclusive" system was launched on September 25 from Dagestan and lasted until October 1.
