Intourist apologized to its agents
24.09.2019 Intourist Russian tour operator gathered its agents from St. Petersburg on the closed seminar. The TO representative apologized for the negative informational situation connected with Thomas Cook bankruptcy. The seminar was arranged to calm the agents and to confirm all the declared plans of Intourist for winter season.
It was said that there were several non-accomodations in Turkey last day in Turkey. The situations were resolved during an hour. TO is working nominally. It was mentioned that all the flight programs are prepaid for month ahead and TO has all the financial resources to continue working.
The agents marked the openness of the TO in this situation. They said about 30% decrease of bookings on Monday when the information about Thomas Cook was announced. But the situation is clear and Intourist is turning to its routine in fulfilling its obligations.
