Intourist announced its own winter charter program in Italy
The tour operator Intourist, a member of the Thomas Cook group, intends to get a large share on the Italian destination in the winter. For the first time, the company launches its own charter flight program to Italy for the winter season 2019/2020. The flights are planned from Moscow to Verona and Rimini. According to Intourist, the tour operator’s winter flight program will be based on the wings of Red Wings and Smart Avia airlines (aircraft types are Airbus A321 and Boeing 737-800). Intourist charter flights start from Moscow to Rimini from November 2 to April 25 every Saturday, and from Moscow to Verona from December 28 to March 28 on Saturdays.
The company is launching such a program for the first time. Earlier, Intourist had year-round blocks of seats to Rimini and the flights were only chartered for the New Year period. The regular flights were always basis for winter transportation to the Italian region. Now, the cost of the tour “Italian Express” from the tour operator starts from 217 Euros per person for 7 nights (with air flight, all transfers, breakfasts and excursion services).
With the flights to Verona, the tour operator will arrange ski (at the ski resorts of the Dolomites, Alta Valtellina and Dolomiti di Brenta), sightseeing tours, and tours to thermal resorts. According to Intourist, this winter the company arranges group transfers to the most popular ski resorts in Val di Fassa, Val di Fiemme, Val Gardena, Kronplatz, Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo, Passo Tonale, Val di Sole, Bormio and Livigno.
