Biblio Globus and Intourist declare continuation of operation, independently from Thomas Cook Uk

On Monday, on 23-rd of September, after news about situation with Thomas Cook, both Russian tour operators, affiliated with a company, reported about continuation of work in regular regime and independence of British company.

Intourist in the text on its web site underlines that current issue affects solely British legal entities: "Tour operator "Intourist" is an operationally and legally independent company and continues to operate as planned. Intourist carries out its own contracting of hotels, has its own financial guarantees and its own contractual transportation. This means that the company will continue to fulfill all its obligations to tourists and partners".

Biblio Globus has published similar text: "All obligations for the execution of previously concluded agreements on the sale of a tourist product were undertaken by the Russian tour operator LLC Tour Operator BG. The tour operator is in the Federal Registry of Tour Operators of the Russian Federation in the field of international outbound and domestic tourism. The management of Tour Operator BG LLC, the founders of which are former owners of tour operator Biblio-Globus, guarantee the implementation of all operational activities of the company. Bankruptcy of a British tour operator will not affect the activities of Tour Operator BG LLC, since the activities of this legal entity in the formation of tourism products in accordance with Russian legislation in the field of tourism are outside the influence of Thomas Cook. Incoming companies of the Russian tour operator work as usual for clients as in Russia and abroad. All contracts for accommodation, transportation have been carried out, the flight program is controlled only by partners of Tour Operator BG within the framework of concluded transportation agreements".
