How Russian will spend November vacation

Two days of the first November weekend plus holiday date 04.11.19 will give Russians 3 days off. And the last days of October are school vacation in Russia. So, these factors together may be the good occasion for travelling. 
Ostrovok.ru has conducted the poll with the question about plans for these days among 1500 users of social media. 20% of them are going to go abroad. 11% will travel inside Russia. That is the auditory which travel agents are working with now. Another 10% will visit relatives during long weekend. 5% of travelers prefer excursions to the nearby towns for the day period. November in Russia is still the good period for dacha works and 5% of respondents will stay out the city for this purpose. And only 2% of all will go to sanatoriums for improving the health.
The biggest number of all - 26% of respondents will stay at home. Some of them are busy with home affairs, others consider the period is too short for traveling.
But the big number of respondents - 21% have answered, that they would think about that period later on. This 21% is the aim for travel agents to supply them with the “last minute” offers to go somewhere.

Biletix service also studied the choice of destinations for traveling during the vacation. Sochi and Simferopol are the most popular arrival airports for holidays, while Larnaka is the most popular place for families. Popularity of Larnaka may be caused by economic reasons: air tickets prices there are on the last year’s level when the tickets of all the other destinations are more expensive on 24% than in 2018.
