For the first time, Bahrain entered the top popular destinations for the May holidays among tour operators

Tour operators report that Bahrain previously was not in high demand among Russian tourists. For the May holidays of 2022, the destination is among the most popular resorts for organized tourism.

“This year, the range of opened destinations with direct flights has been greatly reduced. As a result, countries that previously were not in the focus among tourists came to the first positions. One of the discoveries for Russians is Bahrain, where Gulf Air airline operates direct flights from Moscow,” - Coral Travel noted.

"We note an increased demand for tours to Bahrain this year - it has grown by 30%. This was largely influenced by the situation with the abolition of covid restrictions and the possibility of obtaining a visa upon arrival. Most often, families with children and young couples fly to Bahrain for vacation. When tourists choose hotels, they prefer luxury or 5* category ones," Space Travel said.

“We offered tours to Bahrain firstly in 2018 on our own charters to the capital Manama. Now, tourists fly on regular flights that are operated from Moscow three times a week, or on flights with a connection in Dubai,” Coral Travel said.

A flight to Bahrain from Moscow takes from 5,5 to 6 hours, direct flights are operated from Domodedovo airport.

The cost of tours in April starts from 1 120 Euros per person for a week with breakfast.

The company's top most popular destinations for the May holidays include Turkey, Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Sri Lanka.
