Russian tourists will be able to enter Bahrain in a simplified mode
Bahrain has simplified the entry rules for Russian tourists. The country has made anti-covid measures slightly simpler - the number of tests that a tourist needs to make was decreased.
According to official information from the Ministry of Health of Bahrain, from January 12, all passengers aged six years and older arriving in the Kingdom of Bahrain need to make the following anti-covid steps:
- Fully vaccinated passengers and passengers who have recently recovered from COVID-19 infection must present a certificate with a negative PCR test made 72 hours before departure to Bahrain, and must undergo a PCR test upon arrival in Bahrain.
- unvaccinated tourists will still need a 10-day quarantine at the hotel, as well as two PCR tests.
Previously, three tests were required to enter the country: not only upon arrival, but also on the fifth and tenth days of stay.
