China is ready to invest $ 11 billion in tourism cluster on Baikal
"Grand Baikal" - the largest tour operator of the Irkutsk region and Chinese company "Chzhuntszinsin" signed a memorandum of cooperation, within of which it is planned to create a tourism cluster on Baikal.
As the press-service of the tour operator said, that it is planned to build not only a modern tourist facilities, but infrastructure development on Baikal region and surrounding areas too. All this will increase the tourist flow to the region.
According to Chinese experts, the estimated volume of investments to the project is about $ 11 billion.
"A pool of Chinese investors is defined. The company "Chzhuntszinsin” represents the pool at the first stage of act of low. Russian participants will present the largest of the Baikal region tourist company "Grand Baikal", - the report says.
