Chile to allow entry of tourists from Russia
Another country will become available to Russians. The Chilean authorities from November 1 open the borders for travelers vaccinated with "Sputnik V".
From November 1, Russian tourists with the vaccine are allowed to enter Chile without observing the five-day quarantine upon arrival, as it was before.
For free movement around the republic, travelers need to have a vaccination certificate, a PCR test done no earlier than 72 hours before arrival, and medical insurance with a minimum coverage of $ 30 000.
Also, within 72 hours after arriving in the country, you need to undergo another PCR study.
In addition, tourists must upload their vaccination certificate to the Chilean Ministry of Health website and receive a MobilityPass one month before travel. Vacationers must fill out a special Affidavit of the Traveler form and receive a QR code 48 hours before boarding the plane.
It is clarified that the decision to weaken the coronavirus is more organic due to the decrease in the number of people infected with COVID-19 in Chile over the past four months. Entry into the country will be allowed through the airports in Iquique, Antofagasta and Santiago.
