Charter flights to Jordan have tripled
The charter program to Jordan for this winter season has increased significantly. Tour operator Pegas Touristik began to transport tourists to Amman by airplanes of NordWind airline once a week (Airbus A321). This is the second charter of the company to Jordan. So, last year's flight from Moscow to Aqaba not only survived, but also increased the frequency more than twice - this year three additional flights added to the two already available ones. Dmitry Filatovsky, Commercial Director of ICS Travel Group believes that the increase of transportation corresponds to the general trend of the winter season - 2018: with closed Egypt there remains a demand for warm countries, where it is not far to fly. This segment includes Jordan. The expert specifies that, in particular, the decision of the tour operator to increase the transportation is dictated by the necessity to load the air park, which has been freed from the summer charter programs. The General Director of Space Travel tour operator Artur Muradyan added that the increase of the volume of transportation of Pegasus to Aqaba is probably also due to the fact that the tour operator does not rely only on UAE resorts, as other suppliers having their own fleet. At the same time, in his opinion, the flight to Amman will be filled completely only during peak dates. "At the Dead Sea most hotels are 5- stars and only a couple of them are 4-stars. For the mass segment this will be expensive. It is noted, the cost of tours to the Dead Sea in the booking system of the tour operator starts from 65 thousand Rubles ($ 1128) for two persons for a week (at the 4-stars hotel, "All inclusive"). The most budgetary trips to Aqaba the operator offers from 35 thousand Rubles ($ 608) for two persons (at the 3-stars hotel, BB).
