Turkey will continue to subsidize charters with Russian tourists in 2017
“Turkey in 2017 will continue to subsidize charters with Russian tourists”, - said the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Husein Yayman. "As in the previous three years, Turkey will continue to support companies sending charter flights with tourists. For each airplane with 100 tourists on board we will pay $ 6 000. If there are 150 or more passengers on the plane, the subsidy will amount $ 7 850", - made more specific the Deputy Minister. As the President of the Association of Hoteliers of Turkey Timur Bayindyr noted, subsidies are a powerful measure of support, allowing to reduce the cost of transportation for the tourists. He also said that hoteliers, who have lowered prices for Russian tourists, do not plan to raise them in the nearest future. "Prices may rise, but only if some factors influence on it – for example, such as the increasing of fuel prices", - he added. Also T. Baiyndyr recalled, that the cost of accommodation depends on the season, and the tourists can choose the most appropriate price depending on the date. “In the case of early booking, you can get the lowest price”, - he noted. Earlier H. Yayman said that Turkey plans to host 5 million Russian tourists in 2017.
