Tui started sales of tour packages in Girona for the next summer
Tour packages for the summer season of 2020 with a flight to the airport of Girona (Catalonia, Spain) are displayed on the website of the tour operator Tui Russia. A flight to Girona will allow passengers to save money and time, compared to arriving in Barcelona.
According to Tui Russia, the flight to Girona in the summer season of 2020 will be carried out in the interests of the tour operator by charter flights of Ural Airlines on the route Moscow (DME) - Girona (GRO) - Moscow (DME) (flight number U6 3537/38). The charter flights will be operated on Wednesdays from 03.06.20 till 23.09.20 and also on Saturdays from 30.05.20 till 19.09.20.
Tui considers the airport of Girona as one of the important advantages of the next year's charter program in Catalonia. Thus, Tui experts have estimated that in the case of Girona, the average savings in the cost of the package (compared to a similar tour with an arrival in Barcelona) will amount to 35 Euros per person. For a family of three, the average savings are already 105 Euros. In general, according to Tui Russia, the savings of the package are from 5% to 10% (depending on the month).
With arrival in Girona, tourists will also save transfer’s time due to the shorter distance from the Catalan beach hotels to the airport (up to 1 hour to and the same time back).
In general, according to the estimates of the tour operator, a family with one child, buying a tour with a flight to the airport of Girona and a hotel in one of the cities on the Costa Brava, saves on average up to 105 Euros and up to 4 hours of their time.
Tui already had a charter chain in Girona in the summer season of 2019 in addition to the flight program from Moscow to Barcelona. The program, according to the tour operator, was very successful: the loading of flights in the season was 99%.
