Tours to Turkey and Greece became equal in price

It is a bit cheaper than a similar tour to Halkidiki (Greece). And equivalent to the cost of a tour to Rhodes.” said the representatives of the tourist retail. 

Their observations confirm the new trend in sales of Greece in the framework of early booking program. If last year, observers say, Turkey was able to attract Greek tourists, then this year the situation may be changed. “Many tourists, who plan to rest in Turkey, will again look to other countries. And Greece will be the first,” said Natalya Poskonnova, the general director of Tour Service company. 

According to experts, a picture in St. Petersburg is similar. “Greece can get advantages from Turkey’s price. Those tourists, who pay attention for the price, can make a choice in its favor,” said Yuri Murashov, the head of the TJ Center Tourizm Group. 

However, many of those who believe in the success of Turkey, recalling that it is more difficult to sell Greece - after all, this is a visa country. “Based on the results of current bookings, we can say that Turkey will again become the leader in arrivals of the Russian tourists this year,” said Georgy Pogosov, the managing director of the network of travel agencies Marselina Travel.
