Tourists will be able to fly to Rhodes, Corfu, Heraklion and Thessaloniki
In July, Aegean Airlines will begin transporting tourists from Moscow to Rhodes, Corfu and Heraklion. This was announced by the head of Tez Tour Greece Dimitris Haritidis.
According to the specialist, from July 10, the Greek airline will start operating regular flights to Heraklion. Flights from Moscow will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
From the same date, the carrier will fly from the Russian capital to Rhodes. Departures are scheduled on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Tourists will also be able to travel on Aegean Airlines to Corfu. Flights on this route are scheduled for Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. In addition, the carrier will transport tourists to Thessaloniki 3 times a week.
The number of regular flights on a reciprocal basis from Russia to Greece became possible to increase after the corresponding decision of the headquarters of the Russian Federation. Direct flights to the islands of Greece can also be performed by Russian carriers.
Dimitris Haritidis also said that on June 23 the first Russian tourists flew from Moscow to the island of Rhodes on Ural Airlines plane. Currently, the Greek side is trying to resolve the issue with flights to Araxos, where earlier tourists arrived on the air planes of Russian carriers. Aegean Airlines does not operate on this route.
