Tour operators expect good demand for Dubai, Maldives and Egypt

The Russian government has allowed flights to Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and the Maldives, and tour operators are ready to include tour packages for these destinations in their range. Market participants expect high demand in all three countries. The flow of tourists will be limited only by the frequency of flights and a possible rise of the cost of transportation.

Online travel agencies report about significant increase of demand for tickets to the UAE, Egypt and the Maldives after the announcement of the resumption of flights to these countries. So, experts note an increase in the number of search requests for tickets in all three destinations by about 5 times.

Tour operators have also note a revival of demand for these destinations and are ready to sell tours with direct flights as soon as tickets appear in the carriers' systems. Tours to Egypt and the Maldives are already available for booking in Tez Tour system, the Intourist company already offers tours to the UAE and the Maldives.

The tour operator Spectrum has programs in these destinations with change in Istanbul, daily prices for the UAE are available for booking.

Market participants expect good demand for all three areas. They say that the host companies are ready to work, contracts with hotels are valid. Special efforts will not be necessary to restore sales.

Tez Tour also expects a quick recovery of the demand for Egypt. There is no discussion of charter transportation yet. Nowadays, only regular flights will be able to fly to Egypt, the UAE and the Maldives. However, it is quite possible to build a tourist flow in these destinations on regular flights.
