There is a shift to the autumn season in demand for Croatia
The Russian tourist flow to Croatia for the first 6 months of 2018 grew by almost 7%. In the second part of the season-2018 tour operators expect a slight revival, noting some shift of demand to September. According to the tourism office of Republic of Croatia in Russia, 44 thousand Russians visited the country in January-June period (7% more than in the previous year), the number of nights amounted up to 250 thousand (+ 5% against the same period of 2017). In the Croatian tourist office hope that the Russian flow will show more active dynamics in a peak season for it: in August and autumn season. The positive trend for the first half of the year is confirmed by tour operators. According to their estimates, in general, the demand for Croatia in the season-2018, thanks to the successful early booking, increased from 10 to 40% against the last year. Russian Express tour operator reported that for half-year there was an increase of the direction an average by 40%. PAX tour operator has the overall growth of sales for the half year by 25% in comparison with 2017 and TUI Russia - 10%.
