The tourists flow from Russia to Spain grew by almost a quarter in July

“Spain in July 2017 was visited by 186.2 thousand tourists from Russia, which is 23.9% more than in the same month of the last year”, - according to the National Statistical Institute of the country. In total, Spain hosted 10.5 million foreign tourists in July, which is 10.1% more than in July 2016. On the first place by the number of visits were tourists from UK - 2.3 million, or 22.1% of the total number of visits. The growth of tourist traffic in comparison with the last year amounted 7%. Also in the TOP 3 are Germany (1.4 million, plus 8.7%) and France (1.6 million people, plus 2.8%). In January-July the tourist flow from Russia to Spain amounted 640.7 thousand people, which is 16.4% more than in the same period of the last year. In general, for seven months in 2017, the number of tourists visiting Spain increased by 11.3%. The TOP 3 countries are the same - Britain (10.9 million, an increase of 8.7%), Germany (about 6.9 million tourists, an increase of 9.4%) and France (almost 6.3 million tourists, plus 4, 3%).
