“The Russian tourist traffic to Italian Liguria in 2016 began to return to its normal volumes”, - reported the Director General of the Agency for the Promotion of Liguria Carlo Fidenza at the presentation of the tourist potential of the region in Moscow. "Although for the period of several previous years the tourist flow from Russia to Liguria was falling due to the economic crisis, last year it began to return to its normal level. In San Remo region and Empire province, it even grew by 28.4%. The number of days spent by Russian tourists in Liguria, increased by 13% against 2015", - said C.Fidenza. He noted that the restoration of the tourist flow is an important sign of recognition of the region by Russian tourists. "We are confident that the resumption of a direct flight from Moscow to Genoa by S7 is a great opportunity for strengthening the connection of our region with Russia. The flights will be performed three times a week from April to October”, - he added. As the representative of the airline S7 Tatiana Galasheva said, the flights will be carried out by Airbus A320. Departure from Moscow airport "Domodedovo" is planned at 9:50 (Moscow time). The flight time is 3 hours and 40 minutes.
