The Russian tourist flow to Croatia in winter season has grown

Croatia confirms an optimistic forecast for the Russian market in 2018 and hopes to host up to 150 thousand Russians in 2018. "According to the results of the first four months, the number of Russian tourists increased by 3% and the number of nights increased by 7%. We hope that this trend will only grow in the summer because mostly Russians go to Croatia in the summer season", - says Mr Ruzicka the Head of the tourism representative office of Republic of Croatia in Russia. Mr. Ruzicka emphasizes that more and more the leading Russian tour operators are selling tours to Croatia. In this season ANEX Tour operator has joined to number of the leading tour operators of Croatian direction (tour operators PAX, TUI, Russian Express, Biblio-Globus). All these players are the members of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR). Recall that in 2017 Croatia was visited by more than 133 thousand Russians (+ 11% by 2016). Thus, the planned growth means that Croatia will host about 150 thousand Russian tourists in 2018.
