The number of Russians tourists in Antalya is twice more than Germans

For 11 months of 2017, Antalya International Airport hosted 3,695 million of Russian tourists. But in November the Germans are still the first. 2017 year became a record for Russian tourism in Antalya. By the number of arrivals at Anatolian airport, the Russian market surpassed the results of successful 2014 year (3,478 million people) and 2015 (2,833 million people) and almost 7 times higher than in 2016 (465,500 people). In January-November, according to the local airport, 9.617 million foreign tourists arrived in Antalya (almost + 60% against the same period of 2016). Recall that, according to the Turkish side, half of the organized tourist flow to Antalya belongs to five tour operators. The Russians are the leaders of incoming market: their share in the total incoming flow (38.42%) is double more than the share of the German market (16.87%) and more than 5 times of the third Ukrainian market (7.41% %). Also the top five of major markets of Antalya included Great Britain (3.72%) and the Netherlands (2.65%). Thus, the total number of Russian tourists who rested in Antalya reached 4.2 million people.
