The demand for educational and beach tours to Malta is growing in Russia
In the summer season of 2019, the volume of direct flights to Malta will increase. Tour operators talk about the growth in demand on the destination in the group segment, and tourists who want to send their children for educational tours to Malta should hurry.
According to the Maltese Tourism Board, in the summer months there will be six flights a week from Russia to Malta.
Since the beginning of April 2019, Air Malta already performs three flights a week from Sheremetyevo Airport on Wednesdays and weekends. And from June 10, another flight will be added on Mondays. Thus, from Moscow to Malta, the national carrier will carry out 4 flights a week.
Air Malta will fly to Valletta and from St. Petersburg: direct flights will be operated twice a week (on Thursdays and Sundays) until the end of September.
According to the information of tour operators, the demand for Malta increased in the season-2019, according to tour operators, mainly due to the relative stability of Euro.
Direct transportation also stimulates the demand on the destination: the tour operator prices, offered by almost all leading players and convenient slots of departures make it possible to form tours of any length at attractive prices. For example, Intourist tour operator offers a three-day tour to Malta for only 430 Euros per person, including air transportation and accommodation in a 3* hotel.
According to Intourist specialists, sales of tours to Malta for the summer of 2019 increased by 15% in annual terms, and Russian Express tour operator has growth by 10%.
The PR-service of the tour operator ICS Travel Group said that until mid-May all tours to Malta are sold out. Basically, the customers of the tour operator combine sightseeing tours and beach holidays, but the number of orders for educational tours to Malta is growing.
The cost of a two-week educational tour to Malta in the "high" season starts from 150 thousand Rubles (2,092 Euros). This price includes accommodation, meals, air transportation, insurance, transfers, support, training and entertainment activities in English.
