Thai province is waiting for 32 charters from Russia
Nordwind Airlines will transport more than 12 thousand Russian tourists to the Thai airport of Surat Thani province, from which it will be possible to reach the hotels of Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Koh Tao. The charter flight program will last from December 27 to April 22 and is designed for 32 flights of Boeing 777-200ER aircraft. This was reported on November 13 by the local news agency Khaosodenglish with reference to the words of the governor of the province.
The information was confirmed by the tour operator Pegas Touristik, which acts as the main customer of the flights. On the official website of the tour operator you can already book tours to the popular island of Samui for 11 or 13 nights. Their cost starts from 1 288 Euros for two persons. According to the company, the flight programs to Phuket and Bangkok, where Nordwind also flies, will not be adjusted.
Now tourists, who live in Phuket and want to visit Samui, can get to it by bus and ferry for about 8 hours. From Surat Thani Airport to Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Koh Tao you can reach by ferry for about 40 minutes.
