Tenerife will have another direct flight

Since April 26, 2018 S7 Airlines starts the regular flights to Tenerife Island. The flights will be performed on Mondays and Thursdays by Airbus A320 airliners. Departure time from Domodedovo is 13:25 and arrival time to Sur Reina Sofia airport is 19:20 of local time. The return flight departs at 20:20 and arrives to Moscow at 05:45 the next day. According to the online booking system of S7 Airlines, the cost of non-return tickets without luggage for the flight on May 3 for an adult passenger starts from 12 040 Rubles (170 Euro), with luggage - from 14 070 Rubles (198 Euro). As it was reported earlier, that due to collapse of VIM-Avia airline the Moscow region in the current winter season was left without charter flights to Tenerife. As a result, the tour operators who had VIM Avia’s blocks of seats to Tenerife crossed over to Aeroflot, or sell the tours with a change in European airports or offer tours without a flight. The regular flights have led to a growth of price by about 30%. Assessing the prospects for a new S7 Airlines flight from Moscow, tour operators predict its demand, considering that the competition of carriers on the route will ultimately benefit tourists.
