After VIM-Avia leaving market, tour operators began actively looking for an opportunity to restore the loss of the company's aircraft by which they formed charter programs. So, at least, already two airlines, affiliated with providers of travel services, are considering the opportunity to purchase the airplanes of the problem carrier.

“The total amount of loan debt of VIM-Avia is about 7 billion Rubles. The airline has six creditor banks, the leading creditor bank is Zenit Bank”, - said the Head of the Federal Air Transport Agency Alexander Neradko on Wednesday. According to A. Neradko, the owner of VIM-Avia applied to Rosaviatsiya two weeks ago with a request to help him with crediting of the current operating activities.

“Alexander Burdin has been appointed on the position of the new General Director of VIM-Avia”, - informs the press service of the air carrier. "In order to resolve the crisis situation in VIM-Avia airline, Alexander Burdin, who has a considerable experience in the crisis management, has been appointed as a new CEO.

Despite the Ministry of Transport statement that "VIM-Avia" will return tourists from the resorts "itself or by attracted sources", the uncertainty remains on the tourist market - how, in what terms and by whose funds it will be done. At 12:30 on Tuesday, September 26 it was known only that there are meetings in Rosturizm and Turpomosh with the participation of tour operators - partners of VIM-Avia and a briefing for journalists is planned at 16:00.

“Until the end of the current week an unscheduled inspection will be held in “Vim-Avia” Company and at that time the state bodies seek funds to send back passengers”, - the press service of association “Tourist assistance” reported on Tuesday, September 26. At the moment it is known that the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia has demanded from the air carrier to immediately remedy the violation revealed during the inspection by the supervisory authority.

“The owner of "VIM-Avia" has neither operating assets nor borrowed funds to continue the work by itself”, - stated Rosaviatsiya after the meeting on the operational activities of the carrier. “The airline has decided to completely stop the charter flights of passengers to the places of rest and back”, - adds Rosaviatsiya.

VIM-Avia air company (based in Domodedovo airport in Moscow) again has delays in the scheduled flights.The carrier canceled or delayed more than a dozen flights for an indefinite period, according to the report of the Investigative Committee of Russia of Saturday, September 23. In the coming days, the problem may worsen. The basic airport of VIM-Avia, Domodedovo, has refused to continue servicing (mainly fuelling) the company in debt.
