On April 16-17, the third International Tourism Forum «Sughd – crossroads of the Great Silk Road» was held in Khujand (Sughd Region, Tajikistan). The forum aimed at developing international cooperation in tourism and promoting the region's tourism potential.

The number of tourists from Russia to Tajikistan has increased. This was stated by the head of the Tourism Development Committee under the Government of the Republic, Jamshed Jumahonzoda, during a press conference.
