From September 6, tourists from Novosibirsk will be able to fly by direct flights to Myanmar. Tour operators are already working on launching package tours on Myanmar Airways flights.

Without issuing any visas, having only a valid passport, a Russian citizen can visit Myanmar.

Cambodia is hosting the 40th ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) from January 16 to 22, 2022 at Sokha Beach Resort, Sihancouville, the country's main seaport and beach resort located on the shores of the Gulf of Thailand.

Government of Myanmar decided to issue tourist visas upon arrival to Russian citizens. The relief is introduced for a period of one year in test mode and will apply to those who fly into the country through the international airports of Naypyidaw, Yangon and Mandalay. The visa fee is $50 and permits to stay in Myanmar for up to 30 days. At the same time, the declared purpose of the trip can only be tourism, and the extension of the visa is not provided.
