Russia resumed flights with Bali from March 14

Russia leads among other countries in terms of growth of tourist flow to Indonesia. However, only Bali is showing growth, where more than 90% of Russian tourists rest. At the Russian-Indonesian business forum, experts discussed the demand trends and problems of promotion of Indonesian destination. 

In the first quarter of 2019, 90.1% of the entire Russian tourist flow to Indonesia accounted for one island - Bali. In recent years, other islands have gradually attracted the attention of Russian tourists. Thus, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia, from January to March 2019, 46.4 thousand Russian tourists visited the country, which is 16.2% higher than for the same period last year. 

From July 1, Rossia Airlines (a subsidiary of Aeroflot) resumes direct flights from Moscow to Denpasar (Indonesia, Bali). Flights will be operated twice a week.  The flights are carried out according to the following schedule:  from Moscow to Denpasar by flight SU6295 on Mondays and Thursdays at 01:40 with arrival in Denpasar at 19:00 (local time).   From Denpasar to Moscow with flight SU6296 on Mondays and Thursdays at 21:10 with arrival in Moscow at 04:55 (local time).  According to Rossia Airlines, the flights are carried out on Boeing 777-300 (21 seats of business class and 436 of economy class).  

According to the schedule on the Aeroflot website, the flights operated by Rossia Airlines (part of Aeroflot group) from Moscow to Colombo (Sri Lanka) and Denpasar (Indonesia, Bali Island), will be canceled after May 11 until July 2019. Tourists are offered a refund "within 30 days." 

In October Moscow starts direct flights to the Indonesian island of Bali. According to experts, direct transportation will help tour operators to form attractive prices for tours based on group tariffs. According to Rossia airline, flights to Denpasar from Sheremetyevo will be carried out on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The fact of cancelation of previously announced flights of Royal Flight from Ekaterinburg to Bali on the dates after December 24 is widely discussed by the participants of the market on the profile Internet sites in social networks. As the representative of one of the travel agencies wrote, the tour operator Coral Travel (the customer of the flight program) offered them a refund of money or an additional payment of 6 thousand dollars as an alternative for a New Year's tour booked and paid month and a half ago.

A direct flight, which will connect Moscow and Bali Indonesian island, will be opened in August. It was informed by the Indonesian Internet portal Tempo referring to the republic's ambassador to the Russian Federation Mohammad Vahid Supadiyadi. The flight, he said, will be carried out three times a week.

“Tour operator «TUI Russia" has expanded its range of exotic tours, offering visitors the tours to Indonesian Bali island and combined trips to Indonesia with Singapore visa-free visit”, - said the press service of the company. TUI adds to its range the most famous island of Indonesia – Bali. Departures from Moscow are on the bases of Qatar Airways and Singapore Airlines (with one change) and the programmer lasts from mid of November till the end of March 2017.
