Summer tours to Greece can be booked with discounts up to 35%

Tour operators named the most popular Greek resorts at the stage of early booking and talked about discounts for accommodation until the end of the promotional period.

According to market participants, the demand for tours to Greece for the summer of 2020 at the early booking stage is ahead of last year's level from 10 to 35%. Stable exchange rate of the ruble against euro, a variety of offers of hotels working on the all-inclusive system stimulates sales of the Greek beach product.

As the federal network of travel agencies “1001 tour” reports, now Greece is the second in the ranking of the most booked beach destinations for the upcoming summer season. The unchanged leader of the last three seasons is Turkey. At the early booking stage, Greece is ahead in demand of other Mediterranean destinations, such as Tunisia, Cyprus and Spain.

According to the tour operator Mouzenidis Travel, sales of tours to Greece within the early booking program this year increased by 35%.

Experts note that, in the structure of demand the largest number of applications is for tours in May-June and in September-October. Most often, tours to Greece are booked by couples and families with children. The average age of travelers is people aged 30-45 years and children under 12 years old.

As before, the Russians in Greece mostly prefer 4* hotels in the summer, and as a rule, these are all-inclusive facilities. When choosing hotels, tourists prefer objects on the first or second line, with a good beach and the proximity of tourist infrastructure.
