Russians can go to Finnish Santa Claus by charter flight

The tour operator Russian Express announced the start of sales of New Year's five-day package tours to Finnish Lapland. The company took the blocks of seats on charters to Rovaniemi, near which is the residence of Santa Claus. 

According to the schedule, the direct charter flights of Ural Airlines on the route Moscow - Rovaniemi - Moscow will be operated, like last year, during the New Year holidays: from December 30 to January 4 and from January 4 to January 9. The consolidator of the flights is the tour operator Tui Russia. Russian Express has guaranteed blocks of seats on these flights. 

In addition to guaranteed transportation, Russian Express took guaranteed quotas of rooms in popular Lapland accommodation facilities, which are in demand among tourists during the New Year period. These are Santa Claus Holiday Village apartments and rooms at Santa’s Hotel Santa Claus. 

Also, Russian Express offers accommodation in Lapland upon request at the following hotels: Arctic Light 5*, Arctic Tree House 5*, Scandic Hotel Rovaniemi 4*, Chalet Rovaniemi, Santa Sport Hotel 3* and others. 

The cost of New Year tours to Lapland on charters differs depending on the departure date: from December 30 - from 78 300 Rubles (1 067 Euros) per person, and from January 04 - from 68 900 Rubles (939 Euros) for one person (including flight, accommodation, medical insurance and transfer). 

Describing the general demand for winter Finland and the introduction of a new product, Russian Express notes a high demand for the New Year period already since August.
