Saudi Arabia is looking for Russian travelers

Russian Federal Tourist Agency is ready to continue the question of visa facilitation discussion between Russia and Saudi Arabia. 14.10.2019 the governments of these two countries during the official visit of Russian president Vladimir Putin to the Kingdom have signed the memorandum about visa facilitation for the citizens of both countries.
Saudi Arabia is in the list of countries for getting electronic visa permission for entering Russia. The aim is to open all the territory of Russia by this visa for the foreigners.
Another problem is opening of direct air connection between the countries. During summer season there was the flight program of Nordwind Airlines from Moscow to Jeddah. In June the Kingdom Minister of Energy Khalid Al Falikh declared that the country was planning 14 flights a week between Saudi Arabia and Russia. In September the Kingdom Ambassador in Russia Raid Bin Khalid Krimli informed that aviation officials of both countries have prepared all the document for the direct air connection. It may start as soon as the demand for the destination will appear.
