Prices for tours to Egypt increased due to the reduction of the number of flights
Travel agents note that in January the cost of holidays in Egypt increased compared to December. According to Travelata statistics, the average price for tour to the Red Sea resorts with arrival in the second half of January amounted to $ 1355, which is 20,7% higher than in the first half of the previous month.
One of the reasons of the increase is the cancellation of iFly flight program to Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh, which was carried out in partnership with Tez Tour. Nordwind flights were also canceled at the end of last year. And although the tour operator Pegas Touristik transferred its customers to the boards of Southwind Airlines, the volume of transportation was reduced.
So in January 2023, tourists can book a tour for $ 1 250 for two persons with accommodation at a 4* Mercure Hurghada hotel, and for $ 1 344 - at Arabella Azur Resort 4*. The hotels are located in Hurghada, near the sea.
Holiday at five-star hotel Albatros Laguna Vista Beach in Sharm el-Sheikh is offered for $ 1 595 for two persons (11 nights, departure on January 27). Albatros Palace Resort 5* can be booked for $ 2 030 for 10 nights.
