One more airline will connect Cyprus
The Cyprus carrier Cobalt Air enters the Russian market. From October 29 the airline will perform flights from Paphos to Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport twice a week. Sales of air tickets for the winter period are already open on the company's website. In November and December an average 179 Euros will be paid for traveling from Moscow to Paphos and back. As experts note, there is no shortage of transportation on Cyprus direction. At the same time, the aggravation of competition may invite a decline of prices. Now, S7 airline is the direct competitor to Cypriot carrier in the winter flight program to the resort (average round trip ticket price is 188 Euros). Aeroflot does not have flights to Paphos in the winter. The airplanes of "Ural Airlines" and "Pobeda" fly to Larnaca. Another Cyprus carrier Cyprus Airways, performs flights from Larnaca to St. Petersburg. At the same time, the expert notes that the main loading of the Cobalt Air flights will be provided not by tourists, but - businessmen, sportsmen and those who have real estate in Cyprus. It is this category of passengers that primarily flies to Paphos in winter.
