Lake Como, also known as Lario, is the third-largest lake of glacial origin in northern Italy, at over 400 metres deep. Lake Como is well known worldwide for its villas by the shore, the away-from-it-all little villages and the snow-capped mountainous hinterland. The most visited spot is the city of Como, located on the lake’s western branch: with tourists coming from all over the world to visit the Lake and its surroundings, short-term holiday rentals have become extremely popular.
Daniela Maviglia, Founder and CEO of My Home in Como, a property management company based in Como, is a passionate believer that “tourists should feel at home away from home while travelling”.
Supported by her team, Daniela is managing over 50 apartments and villas on behalf of the owners and rent them out to tourists for short-term vacations. Properties are mainly 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom apartments, mainly located in the city centre, as well as some towns in close proximity to the lake.
Each property reflects the company’s Green Philosophy: they make sure that all guests experience an environment-friendly vacation, going from waste recycling system in-house to natural and organic hair&body products, made and certified by beauty companies based in Italy.
The Team at My Home In Como is also active on the charity side - they have been collaborating
with organisation WAMI - Water with a Mission: with every bottle they donate 100 litres of clean water
to people in need. Every bottle is 100% recyclable and made from 50% recycled plastic.
My Home in Como has recently implemented a wide offer of personalised services to the guests, among
which car and bike rent, personal chef, boat rides, golf courses, panoramic hikes and many more.
