Israel: the results of tourists flow from Russia for January-April

“The Russian tourist flow to Israel for January-April 2018 amounted 116.2 thousand people, which is 6% more than in the same period of the last year”, - said the Head of the Israeli Ministry of Tourism in Russia and CIS Ksenia Kobyakova. "The tourist flow from Russia shows stable growth: from January to April the country was visited by 116.2 thousand people, which is 6% more than in the same period in 2017. In April 39.9 thousand travelers from Russia visited Israel, this is an increase of 13% in comparison with the same period of the last year", - underlined K. Kobyakova. According to her, in 2017 Israel was visited by 397 thousand travelers from Russia, the growth of the tourist flow is 40%. As a result of 2017, Russia occupied the second position by the number of tourists, after the United States. The third place is shared by France and Germany, followed by Poland. Britain closes the TOP 5 countries by the number of incoming tourists. K. Kobyakova added that about 70-80% of tourists arriving Israel are individual ones.
