IrAero airline will transport tourists from Korea to Baikal and the Far East
From April 20, IrAero Airlines will start operating special charter flights between Vladivostok and Seoul (IO-881). According to the schedule on the carrier's website, four flights are scheduled for April.
The carrier also plans flights between Irkutsk and Seoul under the number IO-885.
At the same time, IrAero expects that when the issues with coronavirus restrictions are resolved, the frequency of flights can be increased to daily, since the transportation will be in demand among tourists from both sides.
“We are full of optimism and expect that the settlement of the issue will not take much time,” said the representative of IrAero.
According to him, the company is currently negotiating with regional host tour operators who have shown interest for the new flights and expect to see tourists from South Korea as their customers.
"Tourists from Southeast Asia may really be interested in such destinations as Baikal, Sakhalin and Kamchatka. And customers from Southeast Asia will be of interest to local tour operators," says Alexander Kurnosov, Vice President of ATOR (Association of Tour Operators of Russia), Deputy General Director of the Academservice holding.
