Intourist has opened sales of tours to Qatar

The tour operator offers both package tours on the basis of daily scheduled flights from Moscow and St. Petersburg to Doha. The first flights started on September 15. As the Executive Director of Intourist tour operator Sergey Tolchin said, the decision to enter the Qatari direction is caused by the need to "offer tourists a new product in the Middle East. According to him, in Qatar Intourist plans to offer all kinds of recreation. At the first stage it will be beach and sightseeing tours as the most attractive products for tourists. Today for booking the tour operator offers more than 500 accommodation options in Doha: accommodation without meals and on the base of all kind of meals, including full board. At present time, Intourist offers tours to Qatar only from Moscow by regular flights. Also the tour operator plans to offer a similar product from other regions of Russia. Currently, the company is in talks with Qatar Airways for providing an operator tariff for direct flights to Doha. So in the long term, prices for Intourist tours to Qatar will become even more attractive. Today, the cost of tours to Doha with accommodation for 7 days starts from 47 000 Rubles ($ 688) per person, and for the period of New Year's holidays - from 70 000 Rubles ($ 1,025) per person. Early booking program to Qatar are not yet planned.
