Fun&Sun launches a block flight program to Mauritius

According to the national statistics of Mauritius, in January-June 2023, 8 157 Russian tourists came to this tropical island: 83,2% more than for the same months in 2022 (4 453) and already 27,7% more than for the first half of pre-Covid 2019 (6 386).

The growth of interest in Mauritius, as experts say, is largely due to the significant pent-up demand and the desire of tourists from the premium segment to diversify their tourist experience in exotic islands, which for a long time was limited only by the Maldives and Seychelles.

Judging by the statistics of Mauritius, in June 2023, 3,3 times more Russians arrived on the island than in the same month of 2022 and 3 times more than in June 2019.

According to the press service of Fun&Sun, the tour operator bought blocks of seats on Emirates connecting flights (Moscow-Dubai-Mauritius) from September 22 to December 8, 2023.

Based on the block program, the tour operator arranges tours to Mauritius of various durations (departures are almost weekly), the standard duration is 9 nights.
