Finland has imposed a restriction on visa applications by travel companies
Travel companies can no longer book Finnish Schengen visa application slots for customers. From September 1, travel companies can interact with Finnish Visa Application Center on the same grounds as individual applicants and make an appointment for each client separately. The booking must be in the name of the client. The system of separate slots for tour companies has been abolished. This was reported by the Consulate General of Finland.
In addition, now tourist himself must also be present at the visa application center at the time of application. In the absence of a client, documents from travel companies will not be accepted.
From 1 September there are restrictions on the acceptance of visa applications. Now Finnish Visa Application Centers accept only up to 500 applications per day on Mondays only in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Petrozavodsk and Murmansk.
