Expert: about 2.5 million Russian tourists will spend holidays in Turkey this year

“The number of Russian tourists, wishing to relax in Turkey, will not return on the pre-crisis level this season”, - said Deputy Director General, Director of Sales "NTK Intourist" Sergei Tolchin at a press conference in Yekaterinburg on Monday. "According to our estimates, the number of tourists to Turkey will recover rather actively, but cannot return on the pre-crisis levels. But two, two and a half million tourists for sure will visit the country", - S.Tolchin added. He noted that the company plans to send in the summer season from Yekaterinburg five weekly flights to Antalya and two flights to Dalaman. According to S.Tolchin, the cost of holidays in Turkey will vary from 20 to 70 thousand Rubles per person. "If we take July and August, it is clear that it is quite expensive period. During this period, you can go on holiday to Turkey on the basis of "all inclusive" for 60-70 thousand Rubles per person. If we talk about May, beginning of June and second half of September - that is 20-30 thousand Rubles under the conditions of early booking ", - informed S.Tolchin.
