- Moscow municipal workers as well as residents working in the culture and service sectors will be able to receive Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine starting Monday, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced. The new “risk groups” were added to the eligibility list after Moscow was set to receive a new batch of the vaccine.
- Moscow-based "R-Pharm" will become a leading manufacturer of Russia's Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine. Working at full capacity, the factory will produce up to 10 million doses a month.
- Russia recorded more deaths in October than in any single month for more than a decade, official statistics published Thursday showed.
