Charters in Istanbul start earlier
According to tour operators, due to seasonal demand for beach vacations and the recent launch of charters for Turkish resorts, the sales of tours to Istanbul are not yet in full dynamic.
As the tour operator Intourist reports, mainly tours for September-October period are booked. In general, the demand for a product on the basis of regular transportation in August is close to the level of last year.
Compared to last year, the audience that travels to Istanbul has not changed. Thus, according to Intourist, excursion programs are in interest primarily among tourists aged from 25 to 65, traveling without children. “Istanbul has always been in great demand among young couples and young active audience. This trend continues nowadays," Space Travel operator adds.
Last year, charter flights to Istanbul, which were launched by Intourist, became a novelty in the Turkish destination. The tour operator has planned a flight program for this season. The launch dates and frequency of flights are currently being worked out, but it is already known that charters can start about a month earlier than last year - already in October.
The launch of regular flights of Nordwind will also add popularity to Istanbul. The program starts on October 1 from Sheremetyevo. Round-trip tickets start from 105 Euros.
Also Nordwind will perform flights to Istanbul from St. Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk, Magnitogorsk, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Orsk, Orenburg, Perm, Chelyabinsk and Yerevan with a change in Moscow. Tour operator Pegas Touristik will arrange tours based on Nordwind transportation.a
